With high ceilings and covered promenades, the south wing (built in 1871) and the imposing hall made from sandstone constitute a true architectural gem. They form the hub between the main station and Bahnhofstrasse. After 150 years, a complete renovation is now necessary in order to preserve the building and take account of the requirements of today. The food/drink, office and service areas also benefit from the extensive renovation of the historic building.
